Hillevi Gustafson is a filmmaker and transmedia producer based in Southern Sweden. She has worked in Sweden, London, New York City, and Los Angeles focusing on developing great stories and helping those stories find their audiences. Her credits include documentary films, animated series, web series, graphic novels, and short films.
Hillevi graduated from the National Film and TV School in London where she studied Script Development and has attended NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts and the University of St Andrews. While studying she interned with several top production companies including Echo Lake Entertainment. She recently completed the Change Through Story programme at BoostHBG, a series of workshops aimed at finding ways to use story to create real world impact.
She participated in the StorycentralLAB at the Television Festival in Monte Carlo in June 2016 where her team won the pitch where they had devised an immersive and story centric digital outreach strategy for HERRENS VEJE, the new major drama series from Danish Television written by the team behind hit show BORGEN.
Hillevi also has vital experience working with online strategy and analytics. Working for London-based firm Way To Blue she provided analytics and research for major releases from the big six studios. She also created and designed several infographics charting online buzz for special events. These graphics have been published by top industry publications such as Variety and Screen Daily.
